We will cover all the fundamental techniques from scales and chords, to rhythm and improvising.

If you are interested in song writing, or are looking to attend music college in the future, we will work on contemporary music theory. No need to go through classical or jazz theory books unless that is the style of music you are interested in.
Learn how to figure out songs by ear with ear training exercises like you would be taught at a music university.

About
PHILLIP
Phillip is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and music producer in Los Angeles. He graduated from Berklee College of Music with degrees in Film Scoring and Music Production & Engineering. He has been playing guitar for over 20 years and currently teaches out of his studio in Sherman Oaks, CA. His playing can be heard on the film scores to shows such as Jane The Virgin, Making a Murderer, and Narcos: Mexico.
As a producer he has experience working in a variety of genres, helping songwriters build their existing ideas into fully produced tracks, as well as writing new songs from scratch. His love for creating new and interesting sounds led him to work with software company Output on some of their groundbreaking virtual instruments including Exhale, Analog Strings, Analog Brass and Winds, and Arcade.
